Subway - Spring Valley

My partner cannot eat carb-heavy foods, so she asked if her sandwich could be served in a bowl or just wrapped without the bread. The employee was very polite and apologetic but informed us that management had instructed him not to allow that. We were willing to pay the same price without any extra items, simply wanting to avoid wasting a piece of bread that would end up in the trash. If she had a gluten allergy, she wouldn’t be able to enjoy the sandwich at all! Telling us not to eat at Subway isn’t a solution, as there are very few dining options in town. What is the reasoning behind this policy?? If you have dietary restrictions like low-carb, low-calorie, or gluten-free, definitely avoid this Subway. Management is not interested in accommodating your needs, even though doing so would save them money.

The staff was friendly and cheerful, and the restrooms were spotless. The parking lot is quite small, so if you have a large trailer, it's best to park on the side street. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

Since food safety is not taken seriously, I will NEVER step foot in this place again.
