No 1 Chinese - Spring Hope

New management is HORRIBLE! I’ve been eating here almost once a week ever since it opened. Food was great and previous owners were amazing. I’ve made my last trip there. I’ve been 4 times since new management started and it’s a circus in there. Total chaos. I placed an order for 6 wings at 5:30, arrived there at 6:05 they said 15 minutes when I placed the order) and waited until 6:43 and still had no food. I paid for the wings $11.80) when I arrived, but got so frustrated I left without them. I went back a few days later calling was a waste of time and explained what happened. Lady was rude and said I could place an order, but would have to pay for them ?. No more business from me!

This is, or should I say we, a very fine establishment for many many years but every since the new management and staff, wait time has increased, food quality has plummeted, and it seems very chaotic and unorganized, it saddens me but I think I've eaten there for the last time after 20 some years of being a faithful customer

Went there for the first time the other night. The place is in the strip mall where the food lion is. It's pretty austere. There are tables if you want to dine in. Place is clean and well lit. Plenty of parking. Food was ok. Not the best Chinese in the are but not the worst. I had the Szechuan chicken combo. Egg roll was good. Rice was rather bland. Chicken and veggies were ok. The weird part was that some bites were hot, some were not. Strangely inconsistent. Wife got the beef and broccoli combo. She found it to be bland also. Daughter got the orange beef. I tried some. It was good. We also got dumplings and crab rangoons. The dumplings were good. The Rangoons were ok. My only concern is the time it took for our order to be ready. It was about 40 minutes. Thats nuts. People who came in and ordered after us got their orders before us. I think they lost our order for a bit. Anyway, the whole affair was lackluster. We'll give em another try or two in case this was an anomaly.

DO NOT EAT FROM THIS RESTAURANT!! I woke up the next morning with a bad stomach ache/food poisoning!
