Johnny Brown's Bar & Cafe

I was drawn in by the lunch special posted on the board at this restaurant. The price was reasonable and the description sounded delicious. The staff was polite and friendly, and the service was fast and efficient. I ordered the Gourmet Chicken Burger with fries and aioli, which was very tasty. I also enjoyed a delicious large coffee at a great price for a city location. The atmosphere of the venue is old-school and a bit grungy, but it adds to the charm. It functions as a cafe during the day and a bar with entertainment at night. It reminded me of Newtown in Sydney, which has a similar cozy and rough-around-the-edges vibe. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

The venue is grungy and old school in feel but works. The place is a cafe by day and a bar with entertainment by night. Feels like Newtown in Sydney to me which is another place that feels homely for its rough but friendly edge.Highly recommended!I will definitely be coming back.

This could possibly be the most relaxed spot in the Valley! It's a fantastic place to enjoy a delicious coffee, listen to some music, or grab some drinks after work.
