Wow-wee Maui's Kava And Grill

After a long day going to Haleaka dormant volcano. Nothing better than stopping for a great Cheeseburger and a really cold Heineken or two. Great Service, great food! Manny C.

Not sure what's going on here. I think it is Korean influenced or either the owner is Korean. But they are going for this Hawaiian eatery that does random things, but perhaps doesn't get anything right. The bright spot for Wow Wee was our server. Very attentive, very kind, very fast, etc. The food was really bland. The Loco Moco was perhaps the largest disappointment. Completely tasteless. No sense of umami at all. All the meat was relatively tough. Perhaps the only saving grace was the fried mandoo which I'm convinced was not made by them purchase frozen, etc. If you are looking for a place to get hammered with soju, perhaps this is it. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother. Parking: Plenty of parking in the strip mall.

I had the pepper steak salad, and it was good. However, If you’re looking for a loco moco, I would go somewhere else. My friend got one and none of us liked the gravy. They do have a lot of options though if you are looking for variety.

I got the Mongolian Beef and white rice. It was very good! Great Asian food!

Everything was delicious! We ordered the Mongolian beef, Snapper, Shrimp fried rice and salmon. All the food was very tasty and well prepared. Highly recommend!
