Chase Kitchen - Spotswood

Went to Chase after not having been in there for a while. The service was very good, staff friendly and efficient. The food appears to have taken on a very Vietnamese theme, but they still have the old favorites. The food has gone down hill but the coffee is still good. Great for a breakfast or lunch.

We stopped here on a warm day for a cool drink and a quick meal.We were after a cold meal but all appeared warm so we settled on the pulled pork brioche bun and fairy bread.Bun was simple and tasty so was definitely worth the money paid. The fairy bread (kids menu) was not worth the $4... 1 slice of bread with sprinkles seems but bit steep.Overall however a great quick lunch will definitely be back if im having lunch in Spotswood

Decided to go to Spotswood for breakfast this morning for the first time as new cafes are popping up. Looked at the menus of a couple (not naming them - but one seemed to be trying too hard, one of them had the chef sitting in the cafe not wanting to cook and the other was more a bakery) but lucky for us Chase was just across the road and had a great lookkng menu.My partner decided on the baked eggs on fetta, sausage, beans and toast and I had the bagel special - poached eggs, bacon, spinach and avocado bagel. Swapped out the spinach for mushrooms with no fuss from staff or extra price.Have to say, the service was excellent, coffee not too bad and no skimping on the food. Lunch menu looks worthy of a try too.Might have found a new favorite, especially with the big open windows to sit and people watch.

Have eaten here on a few occassions, food is always good. I am somewhat an iced chocolate connoisseur and this is by far the best iced chocolate I've ever had, using beautiful real melted chocolate kept heated. Staff are friendly and leave you to your business instead of hassling you for more like some of the other locals. Highly recommended.

One day after a big Saturday night out my friends & I stumbled into Chase looking for... Well, anything to help our hangover. We saw a new special on the menu and gave it a crack. This is up there with one of the greatest decisions I have ever made on a Sunday morning. The pulled pork burger is now something I make all my interstate friends have when they are in town. My husband and I have even pre-ordered the day ahead to avoid the disappointment of them selling out. On top of this great menu item, the crew are just lovely.
