Delizie Umbre - SPOLETO

Stumbled upon this cute little spot and were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly and great food. Had the truffle pasta (figured specialty of the area) and grilled veggies. Super convenient as well.

This tiny restaurant is up the steep hill from the Duomo...had full of tables inside and out. Very simple menu . We had a couple of pasta dishes which were very tasty. Simple home cooking which hit the spot!

All six in our group chose the 'beef strips ' then a variety of vegetable and salad dishes. Very, very tasty. Small and cosy the owner and his wife were delightful and patient when we communicated via the English/Italian translation app on my phone.

Some dishes on the menu but really well done, very kind manager and strategic location for a fantastic view. excellent sausages produced by them and absolutely positive for money. 5 stars.
