Republic Pi - Spokane

We attempted to visit a second time because the food was pretty good. However, we never made it beyond the lobby this time after the male host went out of his way to not make eye contact with us. He hurried in and out of the lobby several times, quite literally within inches of us, without so much as a friendly, “someone will be right with you.” It doesn’t matter how busy or short staffed, acknowledgement of customers willing to come in and spend their hard earned money goes a long way. We are currently directly across the parking lot where it’s much busier, but in contrast we were immediately greeted and served.

I’m shocked that these Brussels sprouts were served to a customer. They were burnt beyond recognition, completely black and crispy. It’s hard to believe anyone thought this was acceptable to serve. Very disappointing!

Excellent food, service, and aura. The only negative is a shortage of parking. Deal with it as you find it was well worth the trouble.

Last night we had Jay and she was incredible. She ended up taking care of our bill and refusing to let us tip because we waited for an hour for one pizza and one salad. Instead, she told us to go do something nice for someone else. When the food came it was great and we left happy.

You had me at “wood fired” !! Thin, crispy crust a real Dave Portnoy “drop my d$&k on the floor” crust. I had the Republic I score it a 7.8 only cuz the Center was a little soft. A little slow on service but it was jammin busy in there. The lovely young lady across from me had a salad eye roll) tasted so good and chicken was cooked perfectly.
