If you've never been here it's a must! The food is amazing and the money goes towards a youth job training program! The atmosphere is incredible with vibrant colors. I love everything that this place represents and serves!

First the restaurant was clean and temperature was great. The owner greeted us as we walked in. Server wasn’t up to date on menu but she was friendly and professional. The food didn’t take long to come out but the portions are very very small for the price. For an appetizer I ordered the fried green tomatoes. They lacked flavor a little hard but they were hot. For my meal I wanted to try a few things so I ordered a side of chicken legs, they lack flavor and they were dry. I also order the fried catfish which to my surprise was really good well seasoned however, the portion was extremely small. My sides were red beans and rice and cornbread. the beans had no flavor and there was hardly any rice. I also tried the collard greens just okay Listen, this is just not a place I’d go back to. The food is just okay and lacks seasoning that you usually enjoy in well cooked soul food. I was very disappointed because I really wanted to like this place. My real score is a 2.5 for food but the atmosphere pushed it up to 3 stars.

If you like soul food this is your place. They also have a mission to train people for jobs and serve the community. Love it.

Stopped here with my kids today and man oh man was it good. got one of their bigger meals with chicken, ribs, cornbread, potatoes salad, beans and some sweet tea and we were absolutely stuffed. Wonderful service and excellent food! Will definitely be stopping by again
