Olis Tacos - Spicewood

I absolutely love this new addition to Spicewood! They’ve moved out of the gas station and now have a location next to Hell Bent Holsters at the intersection. Their bacon cheeseburgers, shrimp tacos, and BBQ are fantastic! We've dined there 6-8 times since they relocated and everything we’ve tried has been excellent. Give them a try—you won’t be disappointed!

I can only comment on the street tacos, but they were absolutely delicious. I tried one of each: chicken, carnitas, and beef, and tasted all three sauces as well. Each one was fantastic. They also offer shrimp tacos, which I’ve had at their Round Mountain location (definitely a must-visit en route to F'berg), and those are excellent too. I can't recommend this place highly enough—it's truly great! Just remember to bring cash.

This review is for their food truck next to hell bent holsters. The hubby and I split the large brisket sandwich which was more than plenty. The brisket is not overly smoked which is what I like, the hubby would of liked more smoke flavor. The bread was awesome, buttered crunchy bread with a great texture. We also ordered a small order of fries which were very good, perfectly seasoned with a nice crunch to them. The pickles on the side were spears which was nice to see vs just the hamburger slices. It also has a playground and a few tables if you want to eat there with the kids. Just a reminder they are cash and local checks only. We look forward to trying their burgers soon.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Ray is incredibly friendly and prepares some delicious ribs. The shrimp tacos are fantastic too! You definitely have to try them. We will definitely be returning!

I ordered the barbacoa burrito with beans, added cheese and pico, and topped it off with all three sauces. It was absolutely delicious!
