What a fantastic pub! I stumbled upon it by accident, and I'm so glad I did. The food was delicious (though I wouldn't have minded some chips), but I totally appreciate the focus on healthy options. I really enjoyed the garden setting; we relaxed with a cold cider for about an hour. I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Lovely spot. Beautiful outdoor area (non smoking! So please dont effect thier license with health department) Excellent food service. Loved the ducks chooks geese freely pecking at the grass. Over all. Great afternoon

Cosy and quaint family friendly pub. Tasty meals and friendly service. Great value for money. You may experience a slight wait during busy periods but that is to be expected when it's a family run business and the weather is good.

Many have noted the interesting locale, it looks like a relaxed non-working farm, famous for bikes coming from York Harley Davidson road show, lots of geese, greylag, whites alas not available on the menu, cooking is homely not really restaurant style, relaxing garden lots of seating.

Charming old pub atmosphere with a cozy open fire to keep warm. The meals are reasonably priced, making it worth the journey for the experience. The staff and owner are lovely. Thank you!
