Monsoon Noodle House - Spartanburg

I’ve gotta say I was really disappointed with this place. The Thai coconut noodle bowl tasted like they threw a can of Campbell’s chicken noodle soup in with some coconut milk and served with angel hair pasta? It tasted like watered down chicken noodle soup and the coconut shrimp that we got was also not great. Their food runners were lovely and the atmosphere was great but I hope they re-evaluate how they do their food.

Overall it's a pretty cool place. The food was delicious. If you're a newbie the menu is a little confusing I ordered fried rice and it was $12… I had also ordered the garlic string beans which were excellent and wonton soup the small bowl but just for me the meal came to $20 because the fried rice was $12 I felt like $12 was a lot for just fried rice. Got take out, potstickers took a little extra time but worth the wait — delicious! Cool spot, will definitely return for ramen.

Workers were confused and didn’t know what we ordered. Man up front was rude. Food was nasty

The food is good, but the staff is incredibly slow. The lady at the register had no sense of urgency and absolutely no one helped her despite seeing the line out of the door. Thai taste on 295 is just as good…we'll just go there. The wait for lunch was ridiculous and could have been prevented with a little teamwork.
