El Pollo Loco - Sparks

Pollo Loco offered sizable portions at a fair price. However, I noticed there were no signs of the traditional marinated and grilled chicken, which I expected to find on the menu. I opted for some original chicken dishes, but the bowl I received lacked actual chicken. Instead, it was filled with rice, beans, and salsa. While those were tasty, it didn’t feel like a proper chicken dish. Unfortunately, this seems to be another instance where corporate greed undermines a beloved American tradition.

Pollo Loco is always a ?to-go-to? spot for my family and I! And especially me! I love Pollo Loco. Their Chicken Tostada Bowls is always the classic choice when trying to stay lean and eat healthy. Plus, this location seems to always be busy and consistently getting customers out in a timely manner. Shows a lot about a place!

The restaurant experience was quite typical, with well-prepared and tasty food. Although it took a little while for the dishes to arrive, this is to be expected when food is made to order. I've only been here once, but everything met my expectations, and it was delicious.

The chicken was a bit dry, and one of the pieces I received was mostly bone. When I requested a replacement, the server looked at me oddly. However, the new piece was much better. They really shouldn't have served me that first piece.

The person who helped me drive through the window was rude. It was a last minute decision to get food here, so if of course I wasn't ready (I know I must be ready). I ordered a family of 7, I ordered a few things and then when he asked about the next article I said to give me a second how I looked at the menu... I ordered another article, then he asked again for something else I needed, I said, give me a second and at that moment he sighed. I said, dude, don't sigh that I'm buying here, I'll give you business. He then said sir, no one sighed and if you continue to be disregarded, I will cancel your order, I said, I heard you sigh. He went back and said, If you fail, I will cancel the order and call my manager. I just ordered one more and left it. I'm not inclined to return to this place... A family of 7 (growing ups) would spend at least $75 each time.
