Joe's Pizza - Spanish Fort

I really want to give a higher rating. Jo is a lovely person! The pizza is good but not great. It's good food. Not like NY. The flavors are not bright or intense. The calzones are probably the best menu item. I continue to eat here. Sometimes I have a taste for this style pizza.

I have now waited 32 minutes on hold and have not spoken with anyone yet. Guess I will drive to Mc Donalds for a burger and fries. Unacceptable service under any circumstances. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I would give it zero stars but the review won't allow it.

WORST FOOD EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. LASAGNA AND SPAGHETTI SWIMMING IN SOME TYPE OF WATERY FLUID. I HAVE PICTURES OF THIS IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE. TOOK 2 BITES BEFORE NAUSEA SET IN. RETURNED, BUT PLACE WAS CLOSED BEFORE HOURS STATED. WAS TOLD ID BE REFUNDED, 2 WEEKS LATER, NOTHING! YELLED AT ON PHONE BY SOME GUY WORKING THERE. JOE IS NEVER THERE. THE MEATBALLS MAY HAVE BEEN MADE FROM STRAY DOGS. I SHOULD HAVE OFFERED IT TO SOMEONE HOMELESS, BUT IM SURE THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN OFFENDED. PLACE IS ATROCIOUSLY FILTHY. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU, UNLESS YOU WANT MASSIVE ABDOMINAL CRAMPING AND EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FALSELY REPRESENTED AS EDIBLE FROM THIS SO CALLED RESTAURANT. BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU HAS BEEN CONTACTED. WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS. PLACE SHOULD BE ON DINERS, DRIVE INS, AND ****.

My husband is from NYC, and Joe's is the only pizza place in the area where he'll eat. Authentic New York pizza in Alabama!

Great pizza. We order from them all the time. Love that they actually deliver to my location when the other places won't.
