We were in one of the rooms at the back of the pub and from the moment we went through the door, we were made to feel home! fran was exceptional as eating! cooked by her husband. We never felt like home while we were gone. all staff were friendly and happy to help! even dylan who worked in the kitchen helped me to give a lift to collect my car from neighboring oundle. a great thumb to all definitiw a place to visit great beer, extraordinary food and amazing personal

Absolutely beautiful meal, from start to finish. I had the Lasagne, fresh ingredients, flavoursome beef and lovely verdi lasagne with tasty garlic bread and salad. Loved to see Affogato as a dessert option on the menu, fun and delicious. My husband said his meat pie was as good as his nans she was a brilliant cook) and mum in law had the Haddock Mourne that she loved. Friendly and efficient staff, inviting venue.

On the way back at 12:30, we weren't sure if they were still serving food, but the lady was very kind and made us a large bowl of fries that were amazing. It's a beautiful pub!

I had a fantastic lunch for two. The welcome was warm, and the decor was beautiful. The menu offered a great selection, and the food was both delicious and well-presented. The hotel is situated just outside the city of Oundle, surrounded by stunning scenery. An added bonus for families is the presence of alpacas at the edge of the play area, along with a spacious garden for the children to enjoy.

This place is absolutely incredible, with a friendly and attentive staff. The beer is great, and the food is delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem!
