Dulwich Woodhouse - Southwark

I recently visited a charming gastropub and had the burger, which I found to be not as tasty as it had been on a previous visit. It seems like the menu or meat supplier may have changed, but it was still decently edible. Despite this disappointment, the atmosphere and service from the waiter were excellent. My niece ordered the sausages and mash and thoroughly enjoyed it - it was filling, hot, and delicious. I think I will try that dish next time I come. Unfortunately, the mackerel pate I was looking forward to was not available on the starter menu, but a packet of cheese and onion crisps paired perfectly with a white wine lemonade spritzer. Although I noticed some staff changes, possibly due to a Friday night rotation, it was still a very enjoyable experience. Overall, this pub is lovely and I would have rated it as excellent if the burger had lived up to its previous standard.

Good gastropub food with a nice study feel off the bar. Good service tasty food and well kept Youngs beer including one brewed especially for the Rugby World Cup. Good range of red wine by the glass.

Did mixology class as a quiz win, then did the weekly quiz. Had great fun really good service! Server was Dave who taught us how to make cocktails.

Jessi was fantastic, calm, cool and very friendly. 10 out of 10, nothing was too much to ask for, very pleasant did not Russia’s even though the restaurant was quiet due to the weather felt very welcome

Had a great Sunday roast last weekend, sat up in the bar area and got great service even when they were very busy. Food and drinks were amazing and the roasts are the best around Look forward to visiting again with friends
