I only use this on football days as it's a very popular meeting place for local Portsmouth fans. Great beer, friendly efficient staff and always very busy

Excellent local pub with a great atmosphere, Atlantic pale ale on design also....Nice!!! The staff are very friendly and polite and service is fast, I am a Millwall supporter and the Pompey people were fine!!!

A little jewel of a pub I've loved finding! Although I live around the corner for almost two years, I never really dared to go to the door. It was recommended to me by a friend and I thought I'd go. So glad I listened! Amy the landlord is beautiful and so welcoming, all the staff and the locals are warm and friendly and the pub has a strange modern feeling while traditional. Large selection of drinks at very good prices and even my dog is welcome! You made a loyal customer of me in just three visits. I'd rather spend my money in there than in a box pub or bar, and I'll encourage all my friends to do the same. I look forward to earning my title of the regular customer!

What a gem of a find exactly what Portsmouth is missing! Great staff, fantastic range of beer and cider at good prices and a superb open mic night. What more could you ask for? Such a good atmosphere, we shall certainly aim to be regulars.
