Jafa - Southport

Jaffa is the only place I would order pizza from, consistent authentic Italian style. It is also a lovely spot to dine in, perfect little neighbourhood restaurant

×××Editxxx recently went back and ordered my usual, except it wasnt the same, ingredients on my pizza $32.50) was different, sauce base went from white based to tomato based and the topping was less of the good stuff. Discovered the owner had sold the business , bummer as withinna short amount of time has gone down hill...let hope they get back to the quality it once was, without cutting corners.... Below was my 1st review ........ You will not be disappointed at this place.... service is 6 star, food divine simple and great atmosphere. Its a small and quaint place, so make a booking and have a little chat to one of the best chefs on the gold coast if not southern hemisphere, yes he is highly decorated in his field and industry...

Such a great place and great service. Very clean and welcoming but sadly the food let's it down. Similar if not the same menu as previous owner which was great however, absolutely everything was from the freezer. The cauliflower had been frozen and was wet and tastless; same with the calamari. Come on guys lift your game you could have a really good little business here. I don't normally give reviews but having eaten at the Thai next door tonight and seeing Jafa empty you need to know and do something before it's too late. I will come back and give it another go so please take note
