O'mallys - Southold

My family and I enjoyed a Sunday lunch at O'Mallys. The steak I had was excellent along with sides of veggies. Good value for the price. Nice atmosphere and staff. We will definitely return on a future visit to the North Fork.

Food was okay. Had a stuffed chicken breast which had no flavor even with the cream sauce. The veggies were also bland. A little disappointing.Staff was very pleasant and personable.

I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for a few months now because it's convenient and fits my dietary needs. They provided good service until my last two visits, which is why I’m giving them two stars—otherwise, it would be a zero. I usually place my orders through the app. A few nights ago, I went in, and the bartender recognized me and said my food would be ready soon. After almost thirty minutes of waiting, I had to ask what was going on, as I could no longer wait. The bartender informed me that they never received my order, even though she acknowledged my presence earlier. I explained that I had already paid for it and that they suggested I contact the restaurant in case of any issues. She took my information, promising that a manager would reach out to me, but of course, no one ever did. So I thought it was just a one-time issue and decided to give them another chance tonight. Unfortunately, they got my order wrong this time. I paid for an additional side that didn’t come with my meal, and another one I requested was also missing. I'm extremely disappointed and done with this place.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, the portions were generous, and the staff was friendly. The prices were quite reasonable as well. I discovered this gem after returning on the 5 PM ferry from Connecticut, and I’m so glad I did. I’ll definitely be making this a regular stop on the North Fork.

I've lived just down the block for four years, and I can always rely on O'Mally's, no matter the season. The staff is consistently friendly, and they serve one of the best hamburgers I've ever tasted.
