A Lure Chowder House And Oysteria

My favourite place on the north fork! Your food is to die and they always have the incredible cocktail menu. The view alone is exquisite, but add the culinary expertise of the kitchen and the amazing staff, and this place deserves ten stars!

The restaurant sees North Shore-ish, cool, airy, especially in the outdoor seating area. Um, umbrellas are big enough to provide a lot of shade. But it gets 5 stars or more, for it's food. My husband had Macadamia and coconut-coated flounder he said was excellent. I had fish and chips. The chips were really thin; the fish was mouthwater. Yes, it was fried, but there was NO GREASE on the fish or dish. It was light and fluffy in its beerbatter coating. The salads were fantastic. Unfortunately, the lunch kitchen was large enough that there was no place to dessert. I recommend A Lure Restaurant. And our server, Sherry (or 'i' was kind and worth their tip.

I had a 2-pound lobster, the delicious drinks was great raw oysters. I'd probably go back and I'm not living in the area. It was worth a trip from Florida.

The first time I was there. I loved the place and the outside seats. The waiter was nice and very hesitant for us. Not a complaint about food or drinks, my steak was perfect and my friend loved the penn with shrimps. Recommend everyone. I'd like to come back soon to enjoy the atmosphere.

Every time we head out east, this is our go to for lunch. We were seated immediately and the staff was extremely friendly. The drinks were delicious and the food never disappoints. Crab cake, fish and chips and PEI mussels....yummy!
