Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

Ice was good. Took me back to highschool when I worked there. However when I was employed the ice was supposed to be 'pumped ' every 30 minutes to ensure proper flavor and mixture. Also it was supposed to be 'scraped and smoothed ' to make sure no pesky hard white ice chunks were Incorporated into the ice. This show needs a refresher on those two things. I had white ice chunks in my watermelon and mango ice.

Pretty upset that google listed this as open until 10pm but it had actually closed at 9pm. My friends and I arrived at 9:45pm only to be disappointed. A business manager/owner should be more on top of this?! I put in a edit to google to benefit all the other Rita’s lovers of North DFW <3. Hopefully my friends and I can come back one day.

We saw that Rita's closes at 10 PM. Got there at 9:29 PM, door was locked. Gentleman let us in but couldn't get what we really wanted. I would change hours on Google to reflect correct closing time.

Clean Rita's location, only gripe is that it's off a super busy street. Keep in mind if you don't like too many cars. It gets pretty crazy. Location is quite and we'll maintained. Recommend for any family. Also there's a healthy juice bar next door for anyone who wants the healthier alternative!
