Dickeys Bbq - Southlake

Wow! We had a fantastic experience with the service at this restaurant. We faced a small issue and needed to return to the restaurant, but the manager handled it so professionally that we were genuinely impressed. Mistakes can occur, but it’s the way they’re resolved that really counts. The staff also took the time to apologize and wished us a good night as we left. Such a nice touch! Thank you!

As a Memphis native who has always savored fantastic pork BBQ, I consider myself a discerning diner. The beef brisket served here was exceptional. The coleslaw was quite flavorful too, but the jalapeño beans were just mediocre.

We live near Plano, so we don't often come this way. However, today we decided to give this Dickey's a try, and we are so glad we did! I have enjoyed Dickey's BBQ ribs for decades, but I have never tasted ribs as lean, tender, and flavorful as the ones I had today! They were such a delightful surprise that I went to speak with Julian, whom I assumed was the manager because of the warm welcome he gave incoming customers and how quickly he served the hot meat while guiding the new staff with kindness and professionalism. I praised him for the incredible ribs and mentioned how our local Dickey's doesn't compare. To our surprise, he wasn't the manager! A new employee gave me the last portion of green beans, but they were cold, so I asked Julian if I could have some hot beans. He apologized and promptly brought me a container full of delicious hot beans! Someone really needs to promote Julian before another company snatches him up! I always thought all Dickey's are quite similar, but we truly had the best smoky, tender, melt-in-your-mouth ribs at this location! Oh, and just so you know, the coleslaw was also better than usual! Keep up the great work! :D
