Star Deli - Southfield

This restaurant offers a fantastic takeout experience for lunch. The food is exceptional, earning a perfect five-star rating. The service is equally impressive, ensuring a smooth and pleasant ordering process. The atmosphere, while not full-scale dining, still creates a welcoming vibe, rated at four stars. I highly recommend trying the Corned Beef Special and the Reuben – both are standout dishes that you won't want to miss!

I pulled up to the restaurant for the first time around 6:55 PM on November 15, 2023. As I approached the entrance, I realized I needed to grab my wallet from the car and quickly went back to do so. However, when I returned, the staff member inside rushed to the door, locked it right in front of me, and started turning off the lights. I found this behavior quite rude. I understand if they were closing, but it would have been nice for them to at least let me know politely that they were no longer open. I won't be returning to this establishment. This experience really highlighted their lack of respect for customers, which I found very unprofessional.

Good deli but over $30 for a sandwich and a slice of cheesecake is quite pricey.
