Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Southfield

Amazing food. For a line wrapped around the building and into the road, the wait time was very reasonable. After a 14 minute ride home, the food was still warm! Would gladly keep visiting this location. Also, the staff were friendly, which is surprising with how busy they are!

I treated my sons to Popeyes, I knew they would love it! A new favorite! I had the 2 piece spicy crispy dinner. The chicken was delicious cooked to perfection. I selected mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Gravy was flavorful, I wanted more, to enjoy as a side dip! The coleslaw had a sweet taste, a great balance to the savory flavors. My sons had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich Meals. They loved them! The sandwiches were very flavorful, hearty and filling. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich had spice flavors deep into the chicken finally! The Cajun Fries were so tasty and portions great! Choice of drinks great! The crunch was amazing on all the chicken! We were smiling as we continued on our day. Lines moved fairly quickly, suggest enough time to check out their menu online, before you ordered. Staff was very nice and understanding they moved lines quickly, great customer service. See you soon! FYI: Telegraph can get busy so plan around those high traffic times!

Unfortunately another bad experience with the 12 Mile/Telegraph location. after another long wait in the car, I asked the surf n turf with cornmeal crushed garnel and chicken sandwich. they had not offered the garnels, but rather popcorn garnelen. they also had no chicken sandwiches, but offers, and here is the kicker, they had no cola, so I got orange drinks. I couldn't believe they had nothing of me. not the first time this happened at this and other nearby locations. does not speak well for popeyes when all their business is running like that. pity because the products are actually very good.

Completely unprofessional and don't give a darn about your time or their customers. My family and I waited in drive thru line for 25+ minutes to order our food. When we got to the speaker, there was a note on the speaker saying cash only! In order to use card, we'd have to go inside to order. So we asked since we had already waited in line for so long, could we just order our food and then come in to pay because both of my parents are disabled/handicap and I have an injured back so I can't stand long. The lady nor the manager cared and told us we'd still have to come inside, wait in line all over again and order to order. We asked is there a long line inside she said no only 3 people in line. I stated this isn't right to their customers especially because there was no sign to let people know in advance about the cash only and was an inconvenience to all customers! The manager then proceeded to ignore us!!! So we decided we weren't gonna waste money at this establishment and when we pulled forward we saw it was wayyyyy more than 3 people in line!!! Extremely bad customer service and I will be filing a complaint with corporate!!! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS LOCATION!!!!

The drive through wait time was horrible only to finally get to the mic to order and see a sign that said cash only. The person that took my order said cash only through the drive through but if I wanted to come inside I could use a debit or credit card. Luckily I had a $10 on me because after waiting 15 mins to order parking and going inside wasn't something I was willing to do. The overall food taste was mediocre.
