Athens Souvlaki - Southfield

Authentic in home made Greek food. Delicious Spanikopita and Greek salads. Also their Veggie Gyros are amazing. I’ll be back there for sure.

I've been getting food from here since I was a child and I just had the most disappointing experience..the tzatziki sauce was literally just sour cream. the meat didn't seem fresh. lemon rice soup was hot and good but overall I was really disappointed. not sure what happened but it was enough for me to not plan on returning.

Yero was huge and gotta love homemade yougurt sauce and bread.

I have never had a bad experience until today 4/5/2024. I ordered two gyro sandwiches, greek salad and kids meal. Our lamb was old and mushy. Not sure if the time of day matters but I will stick to opening time for a fresh gyro.

Was very excited based on the previous reviews and was let down.
