Contribuiți la feedbackI went to Soup and More today with a friend who took me out to lunch. I read about Soup and More over a year ago and sorry it has taken me this long to find this hidden gem in Moore County. The owner and staff are wonderful, right there to take your order (even if I had to think about it), service outstanding and food to die for. The second best okra I've found in four years of living here. Or maybe the best next to Bell Tree Tavern. I would suggest anyone who loves hot home cooked food (or wraps or salads) stop by from 11-4 and looks like till 5:30 on Friday. You will NOT be disappointed.
I haven't eaten at Soup and More but just reviewed the menu. None of the above foods were listed.
I ate at Soup More for the first time and maybe last about a month ago. The place is small but it did not bother me that much because it seems like the type of place that you get your food to go. It’s clean and nicely decorated and the people that work there are very nice. We ordered the fish sandwich, pork chop sandwich and the philly cheese steak. The food was cooked perfectly and they give a decent size portion but the seasoning on the fish, pork chop and fries did not taste good and was very salty. My fish tasted like it was fried in burnt grease, the burnt taste over whelmed my fish and it’s a shame because it was a nice big piece of fish and cooked great. The fish sandwich was also missing bread. My daughter said her philly cheese steak tasted ok but she wished it came with fries instead of chips. I don’t know if I came on a bad day or if this is how the food taste all the time but we were not happy with our food and it’s a shame because they have the potential to be a very good restaurant and the people who work there are nice people. I might go back one more time and order the philly cheese steak but if it taste bad it will be my last time there. Also, I don’t think it should be called Soup More because they only have two soups on the menu and it’s just not fitting.
