Afternoon Tea at Sands By The Sea

Party of 6, one of the meals was spoilt by wet salad. This took too long to replace and the rest of the party had nearly finished their meals. We had to justify why we wanted a refund. Also the chips were not very good, too soggy. I’ve had 3 Christmas meals at Sands which have been great. This visit was a let down, not what I expected.

Was served be EE who was great. The afternoon tea was great. The other food we did order were not that impressed with. Overall well come back for the afternoon tea.

The afternoon tea was really lovely and the staff were very attentive. The restaurant is a theme park, family restaurant and so the ambience is what you’d expect from that. But the staff did make it as fancy feeling as they could. A lovely treat to celebrate the end of the school year with my son!

Unable to eat chips cooked with bad potatoes. Burger bun tasted dry like it had been reheated. Cappacino luke warm. Offered another meal but didn't want to eat anything else as meal had turned me off. Should have had a refund really but not offered. Very disappointing.

This place is not what it used to be! Staff were lovely and very accommodating but the foods mediocre and the place is a bit scruffy now sadly
