The Fish House - Southend-on-Sea

Had GF-fish.best I've cost for a long time. decent thick piece of fish in contrast to most places that give them only the thin tail part.

The fish and chips were excellent, with a generous portion of chips—enough for two people if you order the larger size. I would definitely recommend this place. We chose to leave on a Sunday.

Absolutely excellent selection of fish: cod, haddock, rock salmon, skate, and plaice. The chips are great, and there are generous portions. I can't comment on the other menu items, but everything looked delicious. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the quality is worth it. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautiful and clean. Parking can be a bit challenging, but that’s to be expected given the prime location. Two thumbs up!

I've been using this fish and chip shop for years and they consistently provide good quality food. However, I just wish the portion sizes would stay consistent, no matter who is working. I highly recommend it!
