Pulp Kitchen - Southend-on-Sea

Such a friendly, warm and relaxed place to eat. The food was fantastic, big portions and the milkshakes were the best I’ve had in a long time. Went with three young little ones and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The friendliest and most chilled place I’ve eaten with children. More places need to be like Pulp I think families would eat out more if everywhere was that nice.

Grabbed a late lunch and ate outside in the sun. Mains, cakes, and coffees were all incredible. Special shout out to the chips, probably the best I've ever had! Really lovely staff too, couldn't have been more accommodating for our children.

Amazing Food, Amazing Staff who cannot do enough for you. We have been here often as we love this place, but we visited for the pop up Christmas event and planned to get out 4 year old some dinner as well, after he had met Santa here, who he loved! As it was a pop up event there was a limited menu, none of which our son wanted, so we were just going to enjoy our drinks and eat when home. The lovely owners made him his very own off menu Fish and Chips and Beans, a huge portion which he loved so much he ate the lot! The owners are fantastic and honestly cannot do enough for you. Food and drinks top quality with an atmosphere to boot!

We had a nice lunch in Pulp Kitchen! The staff was super nice, they mixed some of our orders (we were annoying guests with strange orders, but they fixed it super fast in such a beautiful and real way. The omelet was simply fantastic, we had it with spinach, cheese and mushrooms and the granola was amazing (might recommend to change the ratio between granola and yogurt If you are in the area, this is worth a visit.

Popped into a cuppa and was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who brought my tea and Belgian bun to my table. (There were many healthier options if you prefer! The food was beautifully presented on the plate and I really enjoyed the quirky decor. I sat down there was busy, even though the manager said he could quickly prepare a table for me. It was just a nice place for a while.
