Alfie's Authentic English Fish Chips

My husband has been after the perfect chip locally for what seems like an eternity he has now found it! Amazing chips, very chunky, cooked to perfection on the outside and in, crunchy on the bite and soft inside. Very friendly, thanks Alfie!! Will return.

"We were in Southend aboard the Paddle Steamer 'Waverley' with a small group of 12 people. Initially, we thought the venue was full, but 'Alfies' quickly rearranged tables and chairs to accommodate us outside. The food was worth the wait, freshly cooked and the best chips I have had in a long time! It's worth noting that many other cafes nearby were closed on a weekday. Great job, 'Alfies'!"
