Panera Bread - Southbury

This review echoes what many others have said. The tables and floor are often dirty. The food is decent in flavor, but the portion sizes don’t justify the price—everything is small and quite pricey. That’s why I rarely choose to eat at Panera.

I've visited this Panera multiple times in the past and have always had great experiences. However, during my latest visit, I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich, and it looked nothing like I'd seen before. The turkey was shredded into tiny pieces, resembling chicken salad, and there was no lettuce. I asked the staff in the back if they could provide me with another sandwich since it didn’t seem right. Instead of addressing my concern, I overheard them discussing me and saying things like, "she's not allowed to do that," right in front of me. This left me feeling quite unsettled, and I doubt I'll return after this experience.

The portion sizes are a bit on the smaller side. I ordered a Mediterranean chicken bowl, and at $12, it felt a bit lacking. However, the restaurant was clean and cozy, and the coffee pitchers were always full. The Wi-Fi was decent too. Overall, I still recommend it.

Clean and spacious. Plenty of parking as well. There are many electrical outlets as well which I find rare for Panera so that's nice. No more fighting over the electrical outlet. I ordered the Baja chicken mediterranean bowl. I've ordered this in the pastbut this time it was definitely smaller portion wise. Shrinkflation?

It has a decent layout and the food is good for a café. It is separate from the main shopping plaza so that is a plus. I usually order ahead and my order has always been on time and correct. The only criticism is that it is often not kept up as faras cleaning goes in comparison to all other panera's that I've been to
