Heritage Deli Cafe - Southbury

We tried the Southwest wraps today, and they were disappointing. They were lacking in filling and flavor, despite our request for seasoning. The eggs had an off smell, which made the experience even worse. I wouldn’t recommend this place and won't be returning, even though I live nearby. It felt like a waste of money. Additionally, the staff member at the front was quite rude and seemed to have a bad attitude, as if she was having a tough day.

This place is incredibly affordable and has a lovely atmosphere. The chicken guacamole sandwich is excellent, and the French fries are great as well. It was a bit busy for a Friday before 11 AM, but still a pleasant experience overall.

The food is decent, but if you enjoy customizing your orders like I do, I’d suggest looking for another place. There's a significant disconnect between the kitchen and the cash register. About 90% of the time, they forget something or ignore my special requests and end up making the standard sandwich. It’s a bit disappointing, especially since the food itself isn’t bad.

Excellent place for a quick bite. Ordered some lunch for pick up, things were ready when stated. Sandwich was awesome, they put on all the toppings I requested correctly as well. Great deal with very nice service. Will be going back.

I don?t know how these guys can make such delicious sandwiches at such a low price (while they go with boar?s head for their ham, etc. . 5.75$ for the best chicken salad sandwich I?ve ever had? It?s just unbeatable especially nowadays!
