The best pizza I've had in years! Real wood oven. And my daxies love the place too. Super welcoming and chilled. Water bowels with clean water everywhere for one's 4-legged friends and a big pub for thirsty humans. The one star was given merely for the great service from the waitress and the pizza, which was good. We were on holiday and decided to try this place on Saturday night. Although it was almost empty for a Saturday night, we anticipated that the service and food would be good. Our drinks arrived and then we waited about an hour and then the waitress brought us our pizza, one of 4 items that we ordered. There was no load shedding and I did ask why people who came after us received their food before us. The platter we ordered had undercooked meatballs. Ordered a chicken cheddar melt burger and was given a beef one and then told they don't do chicken in that variant and thereafter said they will make it for us. All this after 2 hours. The wings, which were described as being hot wings, were dry and tasted stale. Chicken livers were, however, good. This horrible experience really put a damper on our holiday. No apologies from any management. Just the waitress, who was apologetic about our experience. It seems they prioritize their regulars and don't care about travellers to the area. We were told that the kitchen finishes one order first and then moves on to the next. If that was the case, then why were we given 1 item of our order and made to wait another hour for the other items?
