Southbridge Takeaways

We just purchased a dozen oysters and they are so sub standard, they don't taste right and we have found we have been unable to eat them. I have tried phoning the shop at 7.30 pm on Saturday, a few times with no response. Very unhappy. Oysters are very expensive and it is a treat that we only have once a year. Now we are concerned we will get ill. NOT HAPPY

Lovely staff and lovely owner and the only place around that does real onion rings but be aware that if you ask for any ONE of the veges in the Chinese meals to be taken out, they will ALL be taken out (except celery and onion) as it is a pre-made vege mix. I just called and asked for no carrot, celery or broccoli and wasn't informed of the vege mix so I was expecting cauliflower, capsicum and cabbage to still be in it. Like I said, lovely staff but yeah, gutted I paid $16, just for a massive tub of noodles as there was only a wee bit of onion and a super small handful of chicken in it.

BURGER OF MY DREAMS!!! 3 years of regular visits and we have never been disappointed. Lovely owner who always recognises us. Food has stayed a reasonable price over the last 3 years unlike groceries and they are by far the best burgers and fish and chips we have ever had. So good that we never go through southbridge without stopping. Our order is always 2 chicken fillet burgers and a mixed basket, we have tried most of the menu which is all great but these are by far the best!! 10/10 recommend
