Soprano's Restaurant & Pizzeria

I work nearby and frequent this restaurant often during my night shifts. The pizza is consistently delicious, with a great base and generous toppings ready in just 10 minutes. This is my favorite place for pizza in Melbourne and a must-try for any pizza lover.

I tried the bruschetta, which was actually on a garlic cheese pizza and it was delicious. The chicken and mushroom risotto and carbonara were creamy and flavorful, although I wish I had ordered a pasta with red sauce because the creaminess was a bit overwhelming. But I really just wanted a carbonara since I hadn't had it in about a year. For dessert, we had tiramisu and it was amazing! It was creamy with a perfect balance of coffee flavor. The chocolate on the side was a nice touch, even if it was a bit much. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would highly recommend this restaurant.

In general, we had a wonderful dining experience. We started with the antipasto platter, which offered a variety of cold meats, olives, and sundried tomatoes. For our main courses, we ordered the Fettuccine Amatriciana and Peperoni Pizza. The pasta had a deliciously authentic Italian flavor, which I particularly enjoyed as an Italian myself. The pizza crust was not too heavy and was cooked perfectly. The tiramisu dessert was a delightful conclusion to our meal. I would recommend trying this restaurant if you are looking for a reasonably priced Italian dining option in Melbourne CBD.

Followed this with a Mexican pizza and their chicken and Mushroom creamy pasta. If you’ve still got room left try the chocolate mousse! Won’t disappoint!
