Contribuiți la feedback4.5/5 what we absolutely loved about ciel is a very refreshing menu, and very warm and sweet welcome. the duck gnocchi and brekkie burger were amazing, but enten gnocchi beats the other by a negligible marge. Although a flat white and chai were very good, they served cold. this is the only reason why it is 0.5 less (and they were not affected short) . prices are perfect for what they offer so definitiw back! P.S. it is very regrettable that we have lost the pictures that we have made, due to some problems with our handy camera.
I was greeted warmly at the door and received highly efficient and organized service. The meals were excellent, with great vegetarian options. The cutlery and dishes were beautiful. The music was at a good volume, not too loud. My only complaint was that the coffee could have been hotter, possibly because it was served alongside a teapot. This was a minor inconvenience. Other than that, I highly recommend this restaurant.
My fiancé and I had an outstanding breakfast at The Ceil on our last day in Melbourne. We were warmly greeted by the staff at the entrance and promptly seated after a short wait. The service was impeccable, and I was delighted to see the host greet customers by name and shake their hands. The interior is beautifully decorated in a modern industrial style. The menu was enticing, and we ordered Eggs Benedict, a breakfast burger, hot chicken, and lattes. We were impressed; the food and drinks were exceptional. The crispy hash browns and speck were especially delicious. We were tempted to order more! I only wish we had more time in the city to try the other delights on their menu.
The unique setting of this restaurant, located in a converted church, provides an interesting atmosphere. Although the lunch menu is limited, the options are very intriguing. I had the salad, which was fresh and delicious. My friends ordered the burger and chicken pancake, both of which they enjoyed. The pie with a fried egg on top looked amazing. The restaurant can get noisy, but the service was attentive and friendly.
Need I say the pancakes are way beyond average. Served with beautiful gold dusted icecream and fresh strawberries they will certainly satisfy your morning cravings. An curtain made from old anchors makes a great feature wall inside. The coffee is that good that you will...almost always go for a second cup. Give it a try.
