Pure South - Southbank Australia

The upstairs dining area features a beautiful ambiance and a lovely view of the kitchen. It can be a bit noisy, but the food is absolutely delicious, made with fresh ingredients and care.

Pure South is a lovely venue with impressive food that is beautifully presented. While the service was satisfactory, it was clear that more staff were needed to handle the number of diners. I'm hesitant to recommend it to friends because the noise level during our visit was overwhelming. It didn't make for a pleasant, relaxing evening. We had to shout to hear each other at the table, which was quite disappointing.

This place has always been incredible, but after a major renovation, it just keeps improving. The menu features mostly local Tasmanian cuisine, which has consistently been fresh and delicious! The chefs here are truly outstanding!

Grilled octopus w/ pesto cannelloni would easily inhale 10 of these dishes great balance of flavour and texture! Would have loved more on the plate 7/10 for portion, taste and vibe
