Jim Neely's Interstate Barbecue

The food here is simply incredible! It could very well be the best in Memphis. However, I should mention that the service at this location isn’t exceptional. To be honest, I’ve never had a great experience with the staff here. Thankfully, the food is outstanding, which is why I keep returning. I’m not too concerned about how friendly the staff is; I'm primarily focused on the delicious food. If you're hoping for great service with your meal, consider this your warning!

The staff were welcoming and friendly, but the food was incredibly spicy. While they were generous with the rib tips, they were unfortunately tough and offered very little meat. Overall, it felt like a poor value for the money spent.

The pork ribs were extremely tender, practically falling off the bone. The baked beans were excellent, and the potato salad had a wonderful taste. I gave it a rating of 4 because the only side option was two slices of plain white bread; I would have preferred something more appealing, like garlic bread or rolls. I also wish there had been honey BBQ sauce available. Overall, it was a fantastic value at just $13!
