The Victory - Southampton

This restaurant is my go-to spot, and I visit it every few months. I never realized how good it was until my wife recently mentioned that it's the best Chinese food she's had in years. To be honest, I can't think of a better Chinese meal I've had, aside from ones in Chinatown in London.

I decided to order from this restaurant online to try something new. The staff was very friendly when they delivered the food. The chips, mini spring rolls, and fried rice were all good. However, the curry was very disappointing. It was too sweet and tasted like chicken covered in syrup. I couldn't even eat it. Unfortunately, because of this, I won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

We ordered multiple dishes for a party of 4. The Chinese food was not very enjoyable. We will stick to our usual restaurant in the future. Additionally, we were charged a £3 delivery fee despite being only half a mile away.

The food was ok and very large portions but my parents both got sick in the night. Something wasn’t right.

We we’re passing by Popped in for the first time ordered a chicken curry a couple of pancake rolls, quite random for us , happy staff anyway thank you very much absolutely delicious
