Since 2011 we come here, always a good service. fish and chips always freshly roasted. update 2021: still the best chippy in soton, and they also do fantastic Indian cuisine.

This charming local fish and chip shop is run by a lovely couple. They offer a variety of classic chip shop fare, as well as kebabs, all of which are mainly cooked to order, ensuring everything is fresh and delicious.

I had lunch today, and I had to wait a bit because they prepare everything fresh. The chips were delicious—crispy and not soggy, with a generous portion size. The batter was lovely and crispy, not too thick or greasy. I will definitely return!
