A hidden gem in bedford. excellent eating and fantastic Japanese decoration inside. many Veggie options available. reasonable price. they would be highly recommended!

We were looking for a place to eat after 9 o'clock on a Saturday night and decided to try Bedford Place. I had heard great things about Nara, so I was happy to secure a table. My friend and I both ordered the Bento boxes, which were fantastic. We opted for the chicken katsu with curry sauce (served on the side) and requested to swap out the sushi rolls. The chicken was tender and flavorful, cooked with the skin on. Our other friend ordered noodles and also enjoyed their meal. We will definitely be returning to Nara in the future.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, the food was amazing, and the staff were all very friendly. I ordered the maki sushi set and my partner had the salmon teriyaki bento box, both were delicious. They also offer a discount for NHS workers! We will definitely be returning soon.

Food Great, I love sushi and I was not disappointed. Very fresh and well presented. Atmosphere not so great. No background music, everyone around can hear clearly the whole conversation at your table. Even some relaxation music/sounds (e.g. birds songs and sound of water) would help.

We ordered the family sushi set to take away with the Chuka Wakame Seaweed Salad as an extra. Amazing value and fabulous quality, great selection of fish which was all very tasty. All clearly made fresh to order, it was on time ready for collection and very well presented too!
