So I ask my native friends to take me to a place that has authentic indian flavors and hello, here I am. <br/ <br/ When you walk in you know it's so authentic. There's a small trolly outside the shop which serves Jalebis. The aroma and everything. Oh man. <br/ <br/ You've got to try the Gulaab Jamuns! Most I've had in America have been overly sweet but this. this was on point. The perfect amount of sweetness. <br/ <br/ So onto the Snacks. We ordered Samosa, Kachori, a samosa combo chat, aPanji Spl chaat meal and a bread pakora and split several of the dipping dishes between 5 of us. We ordered 5 dishes and boy they creep up on you. I was so full by the end of the meal. I have low spicy tolerance and it was probably more of that speaking. I'm terrible at remembering names but there was this one sweet that stood out that was a big circular shaped (I believe ghevar . Anyway if you figure out which one that is you should try it : Big hit with our table.
Am trying to control my weight but can't resist the taste of Panji. I love the Kala Jamun, Jalebi and their Habshi Halwa the most .<br/ <br/ I have visited this place several times and it has never failed to meet my expectations. I always eat here whenever I visit London and it's quite a way from where I normally stay but it's worth it. Although its always packed with people, the friendly staff somehow find time to give you all their attention.<br/ <br/ Jalebis here are so flavoursome and delicious, I will keep coming back for sure.
It's famous for the place to visit in London if you're after authentic Indian sweets. And yes, it does live up to its fame. The menu has all regular Indian affair at very affordable prices. We got their Jalebis and Mix Mithai which did live up to its name and tasted delicious. Their service is exceptional, I have been to this place so many times so I know they keep extra staff during festive season so I have never faced any issue there either. Panji, how can you give so personalised attention to everyone! how do you guys do it?We were happy with our first visit so we went during Diwali and this time got 1 KG boxes for 3 of their mithais and ofcourse Jalebis : Their Jalebis are mouthwateringly delicious, and crispy. What amazes me is the fact that they always make them fresh for every customer! I have been to most of the Indian Sweet's shop here in UK, being the foodie that I am, but I am yet to see better Jalebi's then this place.. Everything tasted authentic Indian. I would recommend this place for genuineness in flavour and taste if one wants to experience proper Indian Sweets for what they are. I am hooked to this place now and its our default place to go to for all festivals and celebrations (we just need an excuse to go to Panjis!! .
I felt like i was eating in India! Fresh, crispy, clean and piping hot Jalebi that reminds you of India. I am a regular here and do like everything they have on offer but I especially recommend their Jalebi, Samosas and Ghewar, they all induce those memories of Rajasthan (the place where I am from).. Leaving here with a happy tummy, happy heart and an appointment to come back for their Ghewar and Jalebis soon!
