Contribuiți la feedbackI decided to try the banana cake based on positive reviews on Google, but I was disappointed. The cake was very dry, which is surprising for banana bread/cake, and it was also quite expensive at 4.50 per slice. I also ordered a matcha latte, which had nicely frothed milk but the matcha was dark and bitter, indicating poor quality. Considering the 5 pound price and the fact that I asked for non-dairy milk, I expected a much higher quality drink.
This charming and rustic cafe is a must-visit for those looking for a variety of vegan and gluten-free options. They pride themselves on being a nut-free establishment, but also offer options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. The carrot cake was scrumptious, and both the chai latte and coffee were delightful. The staff was lovely, and I had no complaints during my visit.
I had the pleasure of being served by the incredibly friendly and enthusiastic owners who create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The banana bread is exceptional, and they offer a new vegan cake option daily, all of which are delicious. The restaurant is completely nut-free, making it a great choice for those with allergies. They are also dog-friendly.
