Charco Grill - South Tyneside

I tried this restaurant on a friend's recommendation and I have no regrets. We don't usually have takeout pizza, but from now on, this is our go-to place. The Greek side salad was a great option and a good value, and the chilli sauce is absolutely amazing. I came back for a spicy chicken kebab and drenched it in the delicious chilli sauce. So good!

I have ordered from Charo Grill multiple times and have never had any problems. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced.

Food took an hour and a half to be delivered. When they finally delivered it some chips were missing from the order, when I rang they sent more out to us but they came 45 minutes later so we’d already eaten the order by the time they finally came. Also heard someone else complaining in the background when I rang about the chips. Food was nice and big portions but probably wouldn’t order again.

I just ordered from charco grill 2 chicken burger . normally they are really nice but today the chicken was under cooked . never going to order again . made me feel sick

Me and my partner ordered a burger and a kebab wrap from here two days ago. Might I just add I have ordered from here before and the food wasn't good, only ordered from here as it was 00:30 and no other takeaways where open at the time. The takeaway we ordered came to around £10. Just eat wasn't working so we made the payment over the phone. The guy on the phone took forever to take our order and asked for our details to be repeated three times which I thought was fishy anyway. My partner went down to his bank and no payment had been taken so we assumed this was a mistake or it would come out the day after as some transactions do. Today I have went to the bank to go get his daughters money out and they have taken £47 out of my partners bank and she has now been left with nothing. They are trying to say that we made a food order of £47, there's no way I could or would even spend that amount of money on a takeaway for two people! The bank is now involved trying to get it back and will be taking this further to the police if they do not return the money they have taken. Food tasted like cardboard and certainly wasn't worth even the £10 never mind £47!!!! Total scam, wouldn't recommend anyone to order from here.
