I had an amazing baby shower afternoon tea at this restaurant. James and his fantastic team go above and beyond to make sure you have a flawless experience. I have visited the 1911 Café three times now and I do not have a single bad word to say about it! Great food at an affordable price and wonderful team of staff who can’t do enough for you. In addition, the café thoroughly follow the government Covid-19 guidelines which is very assuring when dining in, as well as when taking away. Will certainly be returning for the foreseeable future!

I was recently recommended to visit this restaurant and I'm so glad I listened! What a wonderful discovery! Despite being an old hall, the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We were welcomed with a hand sanitising station and menus, which was a great start. Since we had pre-booked, we were shown to our table and were able to place our order via text. Our drinks arrived promptly, providing excellent service. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and both my Nan and I enjoyed it. My son had some toast (with plenty of high chairs available) and also enjoyed his meal. We will definitely return as the prices were very reasonable. Although we were too full to try the cakes, we will definitely purchase some in the future. We are looking forward to coming back!
