The Cake Shelf - South Somerset

We couldn't have picked a better spot for brunch. The medium breakfasts were satisfying and we couldn't resist taking home a cornish pasty, sausage roll, and a generous slice of lemon cake. The staff were warm and friendly with big smiles. This place caters to all dietary needs so you can leave your restrictions at the door.

That was a terrible experience! I ordered fried egg on toast with bacon and mushrooms, but what I received was a disappointing dish. The egg was overcooked, the bread was warm, and the mushrooms seemed old. The bacon looked passable, but we were so disappointed that we didn't even get to try it. I won't be going back to this restaurant again.

I had a fast lunch at The Cake Shelf near Tesco in Yeovil today. I absolutely love this place. The menu has a great selection, the place is clean and bright, and the staff are friendly. They also offer sugar-free drinks for those with diabetic preferences. It's a fantastic little cafe. They even offer discounts for HM Forces and Emergency Services!

We had a fabulous lunch with lots of gluten free options including homemade cake. A friendly service within lovely surroundings. Highly recommended.

Located near to Tesco car park in Yeovil, this cafe is a great find to pop in to. Small yet well organised, this cafe is friendly and efficient with a good choice on the menu. Had a very nice freshly made tuna baguette that arrived warm with some salad lovely. Prices decent and fair. The cakes looked amazing, I will try one another time. Will definitely pop in again when I am back in town and hubby could test out the brekkies.
