The Bell Inn - South Somerset

I went to this restaurant with a group of 17 as part of a walking excursion. We had made a reservation for Sunday lunch. The food was fresh, served hot, and the staff was friendly. They were very accommodating and willing to help with anything we needed. The prices for drinks were reasonable and the selection of beers and ales was great.

Three of us, along with a baby, enjoyed a delicious meal with plenty of options at this restaurant. The quiet atmosphere in the cozy conservatory provided a warm and inviting escape on a rainy night.

Fantastic Sunday roast for Mother's Day. The food was cooked to perfection with amazing flavors. We couldn't find a single fault with the delicious meal. The table service was exceptional, with helpful and cheerful staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Set in the small village of Ash, I have always loved this pub. It's where I first ventured out into the grown-up world of pubs, so I am going to be slightly biased. It has had many landlords over the many years I've been going here, and the current owner and staff are amongst the very best. I can't speak about the food, but the pub has a real, local feel which is becoming quite difficult to find these days. A good selection of well-kept beers helps of course.

The locals and landlord make you feel at ease immediately and the service is excellent
