Grill City - South San Francisco

I ordered a half tray of Dinakdakan and Pancit Palabok for pick up the next day. When my Dad went to pick it up, they told him they forgot to make it and made him wait for nearly half an hour while they prepared the Palabok. Unfortunately, the Palabok was poorly made and had a watery consistency, more like a noodle soup. I was disappointed because my son enjoys Palabok. To make matters worse, it went bad after just 2 hours, with a sour smell and small bubbles forming in the sauce. We had to throw the entire tray away, which was a waste.

I wish there's a negative star. This place don't deserve a star. Ordering system is so bad. Its so complicated to order food. If you're a light eater don't go here. You have to order a big meal. They won't sell you food just enough for yourself, have toorder for the whole family. BS

The restaurant needs to hire employees who are willing to work efficiently. The cashiers are slow and don't seem interested in selling items, causing long wait times for customers. Additionally, when people try to cut in line, the staff members in charge of managing lines ignore the issue and prioritize cleaning tables that are not even being used. This is a waste of paid personnel and the restaurant should not be supported by the public or receive any incentives for their lack of service.

I was extremely disappointed with the online ordering experience at the South San Francisco location. Despite ordering 24 hours in advance, I encountered several issues: 1. Upon arrival, the staff was unaware of my online order for pickup. 2. The chicken skewers were unavailable, so I had to settle for all pork BBQ. 3. The grilled pampano was not ready, resulting in a 10-minute wait. 4. One of my orders was incorrect when I arrived home. Your advertisement claims that online ordering is hassle-free, but in my case, it was anything but. I urge you to improve your system, as I expected a simple process and instead found myself frustrated and delayed at Grill City.

If you miss home especially Filipino food, this is the place to be.Food: 5/5
