Patakan Thai - South Pasadena

Been going here for years. We had always enjoyed over the years, but our last couple visits the quality hasn't been quite as good as it has been in the past. We'll see if that trend continues on our next visit.

We always noticed this little place while driving by and finally decided to try it. The food was delicious though the portions were a bit small for the price. The staff was attentive and friendly. There's ample parking and outdoor patio dining. We'll go again. It's the best (only? Thai in South Pasadena.

Great food with outdoor seating. Love that these places offers this and has seafood in their Tom kha as an option. The food is usually spicy so sure to mention that you want mild or no spices.

My wife and I ate here every week when we lived nearby. It was always a wonderful experience. My wife and I discussed our favorite restaurants of all time and that was our number one. We miss you, Patakan!

This is one of my very favorite Thai places. The food is delicious, but lunch is even better. Less than $8 for soup, salad, cantons, rice and a selection of entree. Shown is my favorite, the Pad Lake Ew, but the Pad Thai is also killer. The staff is super sweet and takeout is so easy to get. They also deliver!
