Food was delicious served looking food magazine worthy. Our server was A+, ate on the patio to soak up all the South Pasadena charm on a most pleasant evening out! 8 in our party, the trout mushroom risotto dinners outstanding!
There when you need it. The essential brunch spot in SouthPas. French toast ? Family friendly-ish. Wish you guys had a kids menu! We just order the plain pasta with butter
We went in to have breakfast. From the get-go, the waitress was rude and not welcoming. And when we asked for water, she told us that we have to wait because she is serving other tables. The food came and it was the wrong food so we had to send it back and we asked for two extra eggs since the first two eggs they contact with bacon which we didn’t order or eat. And when the bill came, they charge us for the two extra eggs. And still, she was rude and unapologetic. Will never go back again.
Mike Anne’s has quickly become one of my favorite spots for lunch or brunch. The beautiful outdoor patio dining area is perfect for enjoying a meal in a relaxed and charming setting. I recently had the Asian Chicken Salad, and it was absolutely fantastic. The salad dressing was flavorful, and the portion of tender chicken was generous. They also offer a variety of healthy options, such as Anne’s Chopped Salad, which is an oversized bowl of romaine, chicken, bacon, avocado, blue cheese, and green goddess dressing. Another standout is the kale and quinoa salad, made with edamame and red grapes, which adds a unique twist. But Mike Anne’s isn’t just about breakfast and brunch. Their top-notch burger is a worthy competitor in a town known for its Big Boy Burgers. The house creation is topped with Swiss and blue cheeses, a sort of Bermuda onion stew, and ultra-crispy shoestrings on the side. The meatloaf sandwich, topped with Swiss, is another must-try, even if it seems like gilding the lily – it tastes absurdly good. The people here are friendly, and the service is great. Parking is on the street, which can be a bit of a challenge, but it’s worth it. While the prices are a bit on the high side, the generous portions make it a great value.
