Good steak, nice cider, OK service, and an open fire. Good place!

We visited this pub on a walk and we had a great time. It has a massive garden and two cask beers. My partner very much appreciated the female hygiene product in the bathroom. Would recommend for a visit!

Booked into hotel, didn't say they didn't do food only on weekends, t.v didn't work properly, bathroom radiator didn't work, wallpaper has come unstuck in places, only thing that was any good was the shower. After paying for room, was lied to about getting the Receipt. and still waiting 3 days later. My advice stay somewhere else.

We stayed one night in a double room at the Fleur de Lys because it was the only hotel in Dorchester that allowed dogs. The two staff members were friendly and welcoming, and the only food available, pizza in the garden, was fine. However, the room was odd with recently acquired furniture placed poorly. The double bed was wedged against a wall with a TV that could not be viewed. Another double bed had a headboard pressed up against the windows, with half the curtains permanently drawn. The room also had random pictures hanging high up on the walls. In the morning, we couldn't find anyone to speak to and had to return the key to someone who arrived in a car with dogs. They asked if we had booked breakfast, but surprisingly, the room rate of £135 did not include it. Overall, the room was not worth the price, and the hotel seemed to have lost its charm. Only consider staying here if you have a dog.
